Accents of nutmeg, anise seed, fresh soil, mocha, and dusty gravel add depth and intrigue. The palate unravels as flavours of mulberry, blood plum and a hint of baked raspberry tart are embraced by fine, chalky tannins. Balanced acidity and a delicate touch of French oak lend this wine intricate layers of complexity and refinement. Although easy to enjoy in its bright fruited youth, this wine shows great propensity to age elegantly, rewarding the patient custodian
