Crémant de Bourgogne is the sparkling wine of Burgundy. It is made using the traditional method as per Champagne, and is usually a blend of permitted varieties that lie with the boundaries of the Burgundy AOC, in this case Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gamay and the rare Aligoté.
Hand-harvested fruit, gentle pneumatic pressing and time resting on lees in cool cellars produce a vibrant sparkling wine that is a perfect aperitif style.

TASTING NOTE
Vintage
The Crémant de Bourgogne is a blend of Chardonnay, Gamay, Pinot Noir and Aligoté, with the Gamay lending the wine a blush-pink hue in the glass. Aromas of an apple orchard are enriched by nuances of nougat, citrus crème, and a slight petrichor note. A waft of red berries is underpinned by a subtle minerality. The fine bead caresses the palate as flavours of green fruits such as ripe kiwi, honeydew, and lime sorbet mingle effortlessly. A gentle vanillin sweetness lingers in the background, softening the bright acidity and creating a creamy, luxurious mouthfeel that extends into a long, refined finish.

Drink as an aperitif or alongside slices of lox topped with tangy crème fraîche and chopped chives.
