2022 MadFish Pinot Gris
Pale, lemon in hue, the first, fleeting aromas to rise from the glass are filled with a freshness and vibrancy reminiscent of summertime by the coast. Seaspray, zesty Meyer lemon, and tangerine meld with an array of orchard and stone fruits with hints of marzipan, honeysuckle, lemongrass and soft notes of baking spice lying underneath. The palate possesses flavours of grapefruit, pear drop, and Pink Lady apple forming a silky, unctuous texture counterbalanced by crisp acidity and steely minerality.
2022 MadFish Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
A surge of fresh and vibrant fruit rises from the glass at the first swirl. Candied lemon, apple, passionfruit, rock melon, and sweet grass intermingle on the nose. Light bodied and refreshing the palate boasts notes of kaffir lime, honeydew melon, and wild herbs with a crisp, spearmint acidity that leads in a dry finish. The abundance of enlivened, juicy fruit is the focus of this lithe and bright white wine.
