The tasting notes attached below were prepared upon the original release of the wine and reflect the sensory appraisal of our winemakers at that time.
The magic of temperature-controlled cellaring will reveal an exciting evolution of flavour and structure in the wine, which you will be able to appreciate and enjoy upon opening. Cellared wines can undergo colour change and contain sediment which develops naturally in the ageing process. Consider standing the wines upright for 24 hours before serving and/or carefully decanting off the sediment – your efforts will be worth it!

TASTING NOTE
Vintage
Deep, dense cherry in colour, this wine opens with warm, expressive aromas of bright blackcurrant and mulberry, lifted by perfumed notes of sweet mint, cocoa and freshly rubbed herbs. The palate is generous and opulent, with supple, finely resolved fruit tannins seamlessly supported by polished oak, while a subtle mineral, chalky backbone brings definition, texture and impressive length through the finish.
