The tasting notes attached below were prepared upon the original release of the wine and reflect the sensory appraisal of our winemakers at that time.
The magic of temperature-controlled cellaring will reveal an exciting evolution of flavour and structure in the wine, which you will be able to appreciate and enjoy upon opening. Cellared wines can undergo colour change and contain sediment which develops naturally in the ageing process. Consider standing the wines upright for 24 hours before serving and/or carefully decanting off the sediment – your efforts will be worth it!

TASTING NOTE
Vintage
Antique ruby in colour, the wine displays dark, sweet plum and blackberry aromas layered with liquorice and cracked black pepper spice. The palate is concentrated, compact and intense, driven by dense berry fruit framed by hints of brushed earth, mineral nuance and savoury spice. Stylish and varietally pure, this is a continental expression of Shiraz from a classic vintage that clearly reflects its Great Southern pedigree.
